About Rachel

I have always found joy in creating art and sharing that passion with others! Through the years, I have channelled my creativity in a few different directions including education, photography and tattooing!

I am a licensed and insured American Academy of Micropigmentation Gold member and the only certified PhiBrows and PhiContour artist in West Virginia. I also carry certification in Ly-FT Removal, True Life Canvas Areola tattooing and Ink Boutique Scar and Navel Paramedical tattooing. I specialize in body art including script, fine line and small scale realism.

I have been working in the arts and beauty industry for my entire career, completing my Master’s Degree in Art Education from Shepherd University in 2014 and spending the beginning of my career teaching and coaching the youth of my community. After a decade in education, I opened my photography business (@mountainmamaphotography find me on Insta!) followed by the pursuit of my other passion: Permanent Makeup and tattooing!

I grew up in north central WV but moved to the panhandle in 2008 to build a life with my husband Jacob. In our free time, we enjoy hiking, fishing, gardening and animal rescue. We have been medical fosters for seven sweet kitties over the years and have only foster failed once, haha!

I love meeting new people, making connections and transforming my guests and friends so they look and feel as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside!

True beauty is found on the inside, but a great set of eyebrows never hurt!
